History Minor
History Minor: 20 Hours (for students who began college before fall 2004)
- All courses must be in history.
- No more than 8 hours at the 100 level.
- At least 6 hours at the 300-400 level. Advanced hours may not be taken as study abroad courses.
History Minor: 21 hours (for students who began college fall 2004 or after)
A history minor is designed for students who desire to understand the historical background of their world. The minor will provide an in-depth perspective on the study and practice of the discipline. Selection of courses will depend on the major and on the interests of the student, within the parameters outlined below.
Students must have at least 9 hours in one of the following fields: US, European, Nonwestern and 6 hours in a second of those fields.
