Frederic Cople Jaher

Professor of History
Professor Jaher specializes in American social, intellectual, and cultural history. His current research focuses on the history of anti-Semitism in the United States. Selected publications include Doubters and Dissenters (The Free Press, 1964); The Urban Establishment (University of Illinois Press, 1982); and A Scapegoat in the New Wilderness (Harvard University Press, 1994). Professor Jaher received his doctorate from Harvard University in 1961.
