Financial Aid
Financial aid opportunities for current, registered students include fellowships, teaching assistantships, research assistantships, minority student fellowships, and tuition waivers. All current, registered graduate students are expected to submit the request for Financial Appointments early each Spring semester; the deadline will be announced at Financial Appointment Information Meetings Held in November. Applicants for teaching assistantship positions should submit the Teaching Assistantship application in addition to the FAA by late January. Research assistantship positions are given at the discretion of history department faculty and should be discussed with individual faculty.
